Kathoey reddit8/30/2023 ![]() ![]() So you can say, subtly, "I'm one of the guys. So that you can mock the woman that was gracious enough to accept you as a client. Why would you do that? So that you look like you're not a tranny loving less than arrow straight big man. You put a question mark AFTER the woman's pronoun, when you KNEW what the right pronoun was. How can I be offended? Well, because regardless of your intent, your title is offensive. Here's a bit of further reading I think you'd find interesting (slightly NSFW photography): An Afternoon With Some Thai Ladyboys If everyone were as curious as the average redditor, we'd live in a much more progressive world. Maybe I was a bit naive - but there weren't really any other signs obvious to me. On this occasion, the only real indicator (other than her voice which I noticed in the car when she spoke Thai) were quite obviously fake breasts. Of course there's great variance, some of them are very obvious, some are more subtle, and some are very, very convincing. The list goes on, but no one of these things alone is a definite indication that someone is transgender. I'm no expert by any means, but in Thailand, some of the things I generally notice are height, voice, hands, stance, prominent fake breasts and the shape of hips/shoulders etc. With regards to what made me realise she was transgender: We had some food and drink all together, then everyone retired to their own bedrooms. It wasn't a super wealthy area or anything but Thai middle class I guess. ![]() It was one of those security gated communities with a guardhouse at the entrance. The house was 2 story and 3 or 4 bedrooms. I don't know my way around Bangkok all that well, but it was a good 20-30 minute drive at about 1am. ![]() You guessed exactly right, we stopped at a 7-11 on the way back. Her and her 2 friends (also transgender) all lived together, so at the end of the night, she drove us all back to the house in her car. Yeah I'm still around - actually forgot to ever logout and back into my normal account. She gave me her email before I left the next day, and I did email her later, hoping to open up a dialogue and learn some more about her past, but she never replied. She claimed I was the first "white monkey" she'd been with. I didn't let on that I knew, and they didn't say anything either. It dawned on me in the car ride home with her and her housemates, but I decided to go with it anyway. She was a little bit reluctant to talk about her family/background in detail, but I gathered she was from a hi-so family with whom she had limited contact.Īt first I didn't realise she was a ladyboy, I was a little bit drunk when I met her. I have enough knowledge of a couple of these languages to know she was legit. As well as Thai she spoke fluent English, Japanese, Korean and Spanish. I didn't pay any cash but I did buy booze and snacks (~A$50 worth) for her and her housemates before she drove us all home. Anyway - I'm going to get some sleep very shortly, I'll check back in a few hours and reply to more questions if any pop up. I hadn't meant to cause any offense, but I don't know how to remove it now. I'm told that the question mark in brackets after the pronoun in the thread title, is offensive, and makes me a piece of shit bigot. I've managed to only seriously piss off one person. I would still consider this a ladyboy (since she was born a man), but it seems some people don't.ĮDIT2 : There's ended up being more interest in this than I thought there would be. So yeah, don't know if there'll be any interest in this but ask away if you're curious, I'll take my time to answer and promise not to hold anything back.ĮDIT : She was post-op, not pre-op. This was one of the more surreal and memorable ones. I rarely plan anything in detail, but I meet people along the way, and go with the flow and sometimes I come away with rich experiences.
